Although Shower curtains is not a new home décor idea but its popularity has grown relatively faster during the last few decades only. Shower curtain is a curtain that is used in front of bathtub and shower area so as to prevent the water from spraying to other areas and thereby keep it dry. Most of the star level hotels, motels, inns and other places of accommodation at famous tourist places provide shower curtains in the bathrooms. In the ordinary houses, shower curtains are not very common.



Since the basic use of shower curtains is restricted to bathrooms, all the shower curtains are made from water resistant materials such as plastic or vinyl. Shower curtains come in multitudes of size, railings, and flexible designs in order to suit different sizes of bathtubs and bathrooms. Many people also use shower curtains for decorative purposes. You can have shower curtains inside or outside the bathtub and also as an enclosure covering the shower areas.
